Ottawa Art Gallery Wedding Photography | Vera + Misha

A wedding party so good it was almost illegal.

It was a super sweet day. I joined Misha and Vera to capture their Ottawa wedding, and hustled to keep up with them all day they were so busy. Not long after their first look they were waltzing through the art gallery collections, quietly taking in the evening air, then kept a promise to throw down serious dance-floor moves on the Ottawa Art Gallery dance floor. 100% promise kept! The OAG is a beautiful space. It’s big, it’s easy to access, it’s downtown Ottawa, and it’s a very unique space for a wedding party. Downtown Ottawa was shaking, and grannies were all over that dance floor. A very very big day for both families and it was beautiful to watch. By thanks to Roxanne for teaming up with me for this one, and delivering some fine frames.

Dad played guitar in the band!

Ok, just to be real, right away everyone knew this needed to happen. When you see the father of the bride performing on stage, singing, dancing, and putting everything out there, that is special. That is the king of thing that you’ll never forget. That makes a wedding day next level. That’s like a blank canvas being transformed into a masterpiece you already know and love right in front of your eyes. More moms and dads should take a cue from this dad: if you can sing, dance, or play a tune, share that love and perform it on your children’s wedding reception: it will bring the house down!
